How to reach the historical centre of Florence from Relais di Lorenzo
On foot » When you stay at Relais di Lorenzo, you will find yourself only 1300 meters from the heart of the city, Piazza del Duomo, housing the Florence Cathedral.
From here you can easily visit, walking at steady pace, all the major attractions of Florence, stroll the magnificent halls of the Uffizi Gallery, marvel at Ponte Vecchio’s romantic landscapes, shop in exclusive Italian boutiques, or just enjoy the typical Tuscan cuisine in the refined restaurants of the historic center (don’t forget to try the world-renowned Enoteca!)
By bus » You can take advantage of the bus stop in front of Relais di Lorenzo to reach the heart of the city center (Santa Maria Novella station, Piazza del Duomo etc…) in just 5 minutes. The bus number 1 brings you to the city center, and the number 14 takes you home.
By bike » You can always leave your car in the internal parking and take our free bikes. It will be a healthy and fun way to visit the city downtown or just reach the wonderful ocean of green hillsides that surrounds Florence.
